Reading and Leeds organisers re-issue fake ticket warning

Organisers of the Reading and Leeds festivals, Festival Republic, have again warned fans of counterfeit tickets. Reading and Leeds festivals will take place this summer between the 27th and 29th August and tickets are in huge demand, with names such as Blink 182, Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and The Libertines all set to appear across the bank holiday weekend.
A recent statement on the Festival Republic website reads, "It has been widely reported that there are many fake sites for all this summer's festivals. This particular scam involves people registering for free tickets and is essentially a third party phishing personal information such as email addresses."
The organisers urge fans to only buy tickets from official websites, outlets and partners. Using our service here at Tixdaq is a great way for fans to compare and buy only official tickets for both Reading Festival and Leeds Festival. We compare ticket prices from trusted ticket exchange websites like Seatwave, GetMeIn, and Viagogo, this year's Reading and Leeds preferred partner site. Currently Reading Festival weekend tickets can be bought for less than £219, whilst Leeds Festival weekend tickets start at just £207.
