Pink Having Fun at Number One

Last Sunday, Pink was confirmed as the highest new entry in the UK albums chart as she beat off stiff competition to claim first place. Her latest album, Funhouse proved to be more popular than Snow Patrols new album, A Hundred Million Reasons. Many had tipped the Ulster men to top the charts, but Pink prevailed this time. AC/DC were knocked back two places, managing only one week at number one.
Pinks 2009 Arena Tour is selling fast. Her 11 night jaunt begins next April in Glasgow and climaxes in London 3 weeks later. AC/DC are also visiting the UK in April when their hugely popular tour stops off in London, Dublin, Manchester and Birmingham. In addition, fellow chart rivals, Snow patrol are on the road next year with their 12 night outing commencing in March.
