Phantom Sequel Understudy steps into Spotlight

The long awaited sequel to Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom Of The Opera, Love Never Dies, finally made its debut on Monday after a string of setbacks almost halted production - not least when the leading lady, Sierra Boggess, withdrew from preview performances due to illness. Thankfully her understudy Celia Graham stepped up to the plate and delivered a breathtaking performance on opening night that won her a standing ovation from all who attended the preview.

Lloyd Webber hopes for a full recovery from from Boggess so she will be available for the first public shows beginning February 24th, but should she not make opening night it is clear that her understudy is a worthy candidate for the role.
