Singer Peter Andre has won the Premier Inn Celebrity Dad of the Year for the second year in a row.
The former husband of infamous model Katie Price raises three children - three-year-old daughter Tiaamii, six-year-old son Junior and nine-year-old stepson Harvey. Andre, who recently released his eighth album, Accelerate, said, "This means a huge amount to me as being a dad is my most important role." The accolade aims to "Reward the celebrity dad who has impressed the nation by balancing a hectic public life with the demands of parenting." Premier Inn's Claire Haigh commented, "His attitude towards work, spending quality time with his kids, and his likeability factor has clearly struck a chord with the voters."
The singer, whose second single from the new album, Perfect Night, is released on July 9th, beat off competition from Gary Barlow, Elton John and David Beckham to win the title. He is performing a series of shows throughout the summer.
