Panic! At The Disco have claimed that Arcade Fire's latest album, The Suburbs, was a huge influence behind the band's new album.
The band, speaking about their new record Vices And Virtues, stated, ''Arcade Fire's album was a huge inspiration for us whilst recording, it's such a phenomenal record,
"Especially when we were in the song writing process, towards the end listening to that record became really frustrating." He added: ''I wanted our album to sound as good as that. It was inspiring as it made us want to work harder.''
Arcade Fire have recently confirmed two more UK shows, in addition to their Hyde Park gig on 30th June. The Canadian band will perform the following UK dates this summer:
Hyde Park, London 30th June
MEN Arena, Manchester 31st August
