Old guard out to impress in Indian Premier League

Batting legends Rahum Dravid and V.V.S Laxman are looking to prove a point in this year's Indian Premier League, as Shane Warne also continues to be a force with the ball.

Dravid and Laxman certainly have a point to prove, being the last picks from January's auction. They both have suffered a series of poor seasons as well. However, there are signs that the two are on course to show their worth this year.

Both players will open the batting for their teams. Rajasthan Royals captain, Shane Warne, has chosen Dravid to open with Amit Paunikar while Laxman will open for the Kochi Tuskers.
