The Frenchman is confident that the Gunners can still improve.
It’s been a great start to the 2013/14 season for Arsenal already, with just one loss and one draw blighting what has been a succession of victories for the club.
Their superb form sees the Gunners top the Premier League and their Champions League group and having also progressed to the fourth round of the League Cup.
However, despite this manager Arsene Wenger still thinks the club can get even better.
“We have room for improvement and being in the position we are in at the moment and knowing we have room for improvement is a good feeling,” the Frenchman was quoted by the Guardian.
“The ‘feelgood factor’ is down to the quality of the spirit of the team, the solidarity of the players, and their desire to do well.
“I believe in life you can always improve and that is what makes a top-level sportsman or a top-level team, is they always have that surge for improvement.”
So far Wenger’s men have won six of their eight league matches – including a 4-1 rout over Norwich City on Saturday – and also both of their European encounters.
The next game for the side will be in the Champions League against last year’s beaten finalists Borussia Dortmund and the team will be high on confidence.
The match is at the Emirates Stadium and with home support behind them and wins over Marseille and Napoli having already been secured, another triumph is a very likely outcome.
