Adelaide Crows the latest to feel the Dogs’ bite.
The Western Bulldogs kicked seven last quarter goals to come over the top of the Adelaide Crows and win by 17 points at Etihad Stadium.
Adelaide looked set to run away with the game after earning a valuable 22-point lead late in the third term.
However, a stunning scoring spurt from the home side side saw them take down another team that will finish higher than them on the ladder, running out 20.11 (131) to 17.12 (114) winners.
Three of the Bulldogs seven wins for the season have come in the last month after they have taken down West Coast, Carlon and now the Crows.
They will now be out to continue to finish their season on a high when they play the Brisbane Lions in the penultimate round of the regular season, while Adelaide will be out to bounce back to form when they tackle the lowly Melbourne Demons at home on August 24.
