Questioning leaves James laughing while Spoelstra also left almost speechless.
Reporter Bobby Ramos suffered from a bad day at the office on Tuesday, with Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra and stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade all having a reaction to his line of questioning.
Spoelstra was first up as Ramos went on a diatribe about how the Heat didn’t come out quick enough in their loss in Game 3, and rather than interject or make much of a statement, Spoelstra chose to allow the reporter to finish his own statement before merely replying: “Clearly”.
Ultimately, the Heat coach was probably trying to deflect attention away from his team’s shortcomings as he will know exactly where they went wrong and will look to rectify it ahead of Game 4 in Miami on Thursday night.
However, a few minutes later, it was James and Wade on stage for their post-game interviews, and Ramos was again pinpointed for his question, although it was almost a dig at the defending champions which was disguised as a possible question.
Nevertheless, it didn’t particularly make much sense and as a result, a giggling James left Wade with the task of responding with an answer that was barely in relation to the point that Ramos was trying to make.
