Gordon Taylor, PFA supremo, doesn’t believe any player should be kept at a club against their will…
PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor believes Liverpool should respect Luis Suarez’s wishes and let him go.
“There’s no point keeping a player where he doesn’t want to be,” said Taylor, the former winger, who played notably for Bolton and Birmingham.
He did acknowledge however, that Liverpool are in a difficult position, wanting to collect a large fee for the striker, but also get in an adequate replacement before the end of the month.
The transfer window closes in 23 days, and the Uruguayan forward will be desperate to force a move away from Anfield following his latest plea to Liverpool to let him leave.
