VIDEO: Liverpool on verge of triple striker transfer swoop

Liverpool are close to signing three young strikers - Pachuca starlet Marco Bueno, Nacho of Albacete and USA Under-17 ace Villyan Bijev.
The Bijev transfer has already gone through, with the American going straight on loan to Belgian team Genk.
He will train with the first team but is expected to begin his footballing career with Genk's reserves.
"Everybody cuts their teeth in the second team," Bijev's agent, Steve Kelly, said on MLSsoccer.com.
"[Liverpool] would be very surprised if he wasn't in the first team by the end of the season."
Bijev shone on trial for Liverpool, playing 45 minutes for the Under-18s in their 8-0 victory over Stevenage.
He scored a hat-trick and won a penalty in that time, and the Reds were sufficiently impressed to offer him a three year deal.
Also playing in that game was Nacho, who claimed two goals himself, and the young striker also looks to have landed himself a permanent contract.
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has reportedly paid £150,000 up front for the teenager, with a further £350,000 possible depending on success.
Both players can be seen in action against Stevenage in the video at the bottom of this page.
Finally, Liverpool have offered a ten day trial to Mexican striker Marco Bueno.
Though the 17 year-old has drawn inevitable comparisons with Manchester United ace Javier Hernandez due to his nationality, in truth he is more of a second striker - a younger and of course rawer Luis Suarez, if you will.
At the recent U17 World Cup, he scored just once as Mexico claimed the trophy, but his creativity and earnest running won him considerable acclaim as he set up numerous goals for his strike partner Carlos Fierro.
"I have to face it with great motivation and commitment to represent the country in the best way, and with faith that everything is achievable," said Bueno.
He revealed his desire to play alongside the club's biggest name stars, explaining that it had been a dream of his for a very long time.
"Yes, I really do want that," enthused the young Mexican to Record.com.
"It will be a life experience that I will never forget, I'm very excited about that and will give my best. Where the opportunity arises I will make the most [of it].
"A pre-contract with the parents and Bueno was signed to be sent to Liverpool," Pachuca vice-president Andres Fassi said to Mexican newspaper El Universal.
"So we are accepting the ten day trial and the conditions, if the English decide to keep him."
