No stopping in-form side as after they defeated Tennessee.
It might have only been one-yard but it was enough to ensure the Kansas City Chiefs kept p their unbeaten start to the NFL season.
Jamaal Charles converted the short-range chance to see them defeat the Titans 26-17 as the Chiefs went 5-0 for the first time since 2003.
The records continued to tumble for the Chiefs in 2013-14 as they became the first team in NFL history to remain unbeaten through the first five weeks of the season after winning two games the year before.
However, the win nearly was taken from them after the Chiefs enjoyed a 13-point lead at half time, only to see the Titans storm back into the game.
The Titans (3-2) couldn’t have been more out of synch in the first half with Ryan Fitzpatrick starting for Jake Locker sidelined with his sprained right hip. He missed his first five passes and went three-and-out on his first five series before guiding Tennessee to 17 straight points in the second half.
Charles put the Chiefs ahead to stay, and they intercepted Fitzpatrick twice in the final 6:14. Ryan Succop kicked four field goals, including a 48-yarder.
