Winless Sydney team gets their best chance to record their first victory in 2013.
Greater Western Sydney coach Kevin Sheedy has made a handful of changes for his side’s clash against the Melbourne Demons at Skoda Stadium in round 19 AFL action.
Both sides have had miserable seasons to date and will be desperate to earn a win to give their fans something to cheer about.
The Giants are yet to record victory through 17 games this season, while the Demons are only marginally better, sitting on eight points for the year.
Another loss to the Sydney side would all but hand the the wooden spoon for another season
Sheedy said the changes by the side meant he would have a “good experienced line-up” to pick from
“After a bit of a belting last week will be keen to come up and perform extremely well,” Sheedy said.
After keeping pace with the Collingwood Magpies last round, class and experience saw the Magpies run out 40-point winners against the Giants.
While the Dees will be still smarting from their 122-point hiding they copped at the hands of North Melbourne.
