Three Lions square the series with good performance at Durham.
Lightning did not strike twice for Aaron Finch and the Australia side in their series against England, with the home side drawing level 1-1 after their 27-run victory at Chester-le-Street.
After Finch belted the English attack on his way to a world record score of 156 in game one, England extracted a measure of revenge, with the Aussie opener only scoring only five.
Instead it was England batsman Alex Hales who was the star of the show, with his 94 off 80 balls helping his side to 196 from their 20 overs.
In response, Australia only managed 168 with Jade Dernbach the star with the ball for the home side in snaring 3-23 off his four overs as David Warner top scored with 53.
The sides will now begin the 50-over One-Day series with the first game at Leeds on September 6.
