Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade has revealed that he was quizzed by a kid at his basketball camp over why he felt the need to flop during games.
Speaking at a Sports Academy and Cheerleading Skills Camp that he co-hosts with Chicago Bears receiver Brandon Marshall, Wade explained the awkward situation he encountered.
While the 32-year-old does have a reputation for being one of the game’s most frequent floppers, Wade can point in the direction of the three NBA championships that he has won over the years and ultimately that will be what he is largely remembered for.
Nevertheless, it doesn’t stop this hilarious story from gaining significant media coverage, with Wade suggesting that it may well have been the kid’s parents that put him up to asking the question.
