The U.S. men’s soccer team competed in an international friendly match with the Netherlands, and it turned out to be a match for the ages.
The Netherlands drew first blood 27 minutes in before the match was tied at halftime. They extended their lead to 3-1 at the 53-minute mark though.
John Anthony Brooks put the U.S. back in it with a goal though, which was scored at the 70-minute mark.
As the match reached 89 minutes, it was still 3-2, but the U.S. tied it on a goal by Daniel Williams.
The U.S. refused to settle for a tie though, and Bobby Wood stunned the Dutch with the game winner just as regulation time was about to expire.
This marks an incredible comeback, as two goals were scored in the final two minutes of the game.
Here is a video of this incredible goal that would have been extraordinary enough even for a big stage like the World Cup or Champions League.
