Tottenham’s 3-2 victory over Swansea City at White Hart Lane was secondary as people worried about the health of Bafetimbi Gomis after he collapsed on the pitch during the match, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The Frenchman has a history of fainting on the pitch, with low blood pressure apparently the source of the problem. The 29-year-old was conscious as he left the pitch, and doctors have since said that he is fine.
Manager Garry Monk said: He’s fine now – he has a little bit of a problem with low blood pressure. But it’s part of his life, part of him, and it’s not as serious as it looks.”
