The spinner is concentrating on his domestic form after being snubbed for the Ashes.
Australian spin bowler Ashton Agar is looking to improve his game in his home country after missing out on the 16-man Ashes squad travelling to England in the summer.
Agar had been tipped to make the tour after an impressive debut season in the domestic Sheffield Shield competition in Australia.
The 19-year-old took 22 wickets in six matches for Western Australia at an average of 29.40, which included figures of 5-65 against South Australia at Adelaide.
Yet the national selectors instead opted to just take one spinner to England in Nathan Lyon, despite Lyon failing to impress during the side’s supposedly spin-friendly tour of India earlier in the year.
