Wenger ready to move for Ligue 1 sensation.
Arsenal are lining up a bid for Argentinian striker Dario Cvitanich, Fanatix has learnt.
The 28-year old striker has been in fine form for French side Nice this season, powering them up to fifth in the league with a return of twelve goals. He currently lies second in the French goal-scoring charts, behind only PSG’s Swedish star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Cvitanich moved to the Ligue 1 club last summer but has already caught the eye of a number of clubs with his impressive debut season.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is said to be a keen admirer of the forward and is attracted by the relatively low transfer fee the player would be available for.
The North London club are looking for attacking reinforcements after some inconsistent performances from the likes of Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski and the departure of Robin Van Persie last summer.
The player is somewhat of an unknown quantity in England but in case you’re wondering what kind of player he is, here’s a clip of a goal Cvitanich scored against Evian earlier in the season.
