Japanese playmaker shows exactly why Italian giants want him.
AC Milan target Keisuke Honda scored a fantastic free-kick in CSKA Moscow’s 2-1 win over rivals Lokomotiv on Sunday afternoon.
The 27-year-old is still a transfer target of the Rossoneri, although negotiations to this point have failed to result in a positive outcome for all parties concerned.
Milan chief Adriano Galliani has not yet given up hope of signing the Japanese playmaker this summer, but it is understood that he will join in January on a free transfer if an agreement is not reached before the transfer deadline.
Currently, the two clubs have been unable to agree on a transfer fee to allow Honda to leave earlier, but with goals like that scored in the video below, it is no surprise that the Serie A giants are keen to sign him as soon as possible.
In contrast, CSKA are hoping to hold on to him for as long as possible as they look to defend their league crown this season as well as making an impact in the group stages of the Champions League.
