Uruguayan forward dazzles once again…
Liverpool forward Luis Suarez capped a superb performance with a hat-trick, and fans and journalists alike took to Twitter to praise the 27-year-old…
The Uruguayan now has 28 for the season, and with eight games remaining, he’s on course to break the record of 34, held jointly by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer, for the most in a single league campaign.
What’s more, the 27-year-old assisted his excellent strike partner Daniel Sturridge for the Englishman’s goals, meaning he now leads the assist charts outright as well.
On current form, there’s arguably no better strike partnership in world football, and the Reds are showing more and more each week why they have a genuine chance of Premier League glory this term.
Here’s how some of the country’s leading football journalists, fellow sports stars, and the owner of the club’s wife reacted!
Luis Suarez. Brilliant. Just brilliant. #LFC

#LFC poor for 45mins but blew Cardiff away in second half. Suarez deserved his hat-trick – has to be nailed on for Footballer of the Year — James Pearce (@JamesPearceEcho) March 22, 2014
Luis Suárez gets his sixth career PL hat trick. Only Shearer, Fowler, Owen & Henry have more.

Anyone who’d chose Rooney & RVP over Suarez & Sturridge is living in the past. #LFC pair younger & fitter; true partnership + getting better
