Have we reached a point where even the story of a potential non-story is buzzworthy? HELLS YEAH!
With the impending release of what is expected by many to be a bombshell video of Cowboys WR Dez Bryant that some have said is worse than the Ray Rice video, Twitter has begun its reaction to the story.
Dez Bryant: NFL insider confirms existence of bombshell video, unsure if it will be made public
Earlier in the day the website Terez Owens and the Sun Times began slowly releasing pieces on information indicating that a video exists of the Cowboys All-Pro receiver doing something so heinous that Terez Owens called it “five times worse” than the TMZ video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancee in the face in a hotel elevator.
Terez Owens was the first of several sites to try and put a more humorous spin on the reaction to the news:

I’m not surprised that there’s video of Dez Bryant dropping a chick. pic.twitter.com/r0dRJBwzPO

Others were much less convinced that the video even exists (after all, it hasn’t even been released yet):
$100 says there is no Dez Bryant video

I’m cautiously curious what’s on this Dez Bryant video. Said to be worse than Ray Rice, but then why keep it a secret for a year? — VF Castro – Author (@VFdoesFootball) February 25, 2015

But in the end, we know from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter that there is, in fact, a tape – though we don’t yet know what’s on it.
Adam Schefter just confirmed that there is a Dez Bryant video. (and it’s bad).

Regarding the Dez Bryant video/non-video, @AdamSchefter said on ESPN 1000 today that he’s been working on the story for a long time.

The world waits with anticipation for the next big scandal since the Ray Rice incident to fully unfold.
