Spurs boss at 7/4 to leave White Hart Lane for Paris.
Sky Bet have slashed the odds on Tottenham head-coach Andre Villas-Boas joining Ligue 1 champions PSG after receiving a flurry of big bets on the Portuguese to succeed Carlo Ancelotti.
Villas-Boas is currently priced at 7/4 to take the Parc des Princes hot-seat, with former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini second favourite at 9/4.
The big-spending Parisiens are expecting to lose Ancelotti to Real Madrid this summer and have reportedly identified Spurs’ 35-year-old boss as the ideal replacement.
Spurs superstar Gareth Bale has recently spoken of his fine relationship relationship with the former Chelsea manager and to lose Villas-Boas, particularly after such a promising season, would be a major blow for the north London club.
Villas-Boas was himself linked with a the vacant manager’s job at the Santiago Bernabeu earlier this summer.
Sky Bet Football Trader Chris Spicer said: “We saw a flurry of bets on Tuesday morning as a range of reports suggesting PSG have approached Villas-Boas’ representatives emerged.
“However, we’re refraining from cutting the price too much more given we also recently saw him backed for the Real Madrid post.
“It is also questionable as to whether the PSG post is significantly more appealing than the one he currently holds at Tottenham, given the talent at his disposal and unfinished business of not securing a top-four place last season.”
Villas-Boas, who led Porto to an historic treble in 2011, joined Spurs last summer but has never remained at a club for more than one season.
