Rennes midfielder is a top priority target for both London clubs for January.
Yann M’Vila may finally be on his way to the Premier League, and more precisely to London, with both Tottenham and QPR tracking the Rennes enforcer, according to French website Mercato365.
The interest from White Hart Lane has been well-documented for some time, with Rennes having rejected an offer from Spurs for the anchorman last summer.
Lilywhites boss André Villas-Boas has again made M’Vila a top priority for the upcoming transfer window and is reportedly preparing a £5.75m offer for the France midfielder, who is currently banned from International football.
Meanwhile, former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp, now in charge of QPR, is also keen on the tough-tackling star.
The R’s, who are currently bottom of the Premier League table, are keen to bolster their squad with quality reinforcements in their struggle against relegation and are prepared to top Spurs’ offer with a £6.5m of their own.
The 22-year old has had an up and down season after a much-speculated summer exit and now believes his future lies in England.
M’Vila is said to have no preference for either club, so it will ultimately be down to the London rivals to see who can entice the French outfit with the best offer for their star.
