Johnny Unitas is one of the few quarterbacks who could have made the leap to the modern game, such was his style during the last 1950s and 1960s.
He introduced the two-minute offence, was the first quarterback to have a 30 touchdown season or pass 40,000 yards in his career and starred in the 1950 championship game that many believe is the best game of American football ever played.
