Butland will be farmed out on loan next season if Begovic remains at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke could send new signing Jack Butland on loan for the whole of next season after the Potters stressed in would take a huge offer to sign current number one Asmir Begovic.

Butland, 19, joined Stoke on deadline day from Birmingham City but was immediately loaned back to the cash-strapped Championship outfit for the remainder of the current campaign.
The England international’s arrival has sparked speculation that Begovic will depart in the summer, with Manchester United and Man City both thought to be interested in the towering stopper.
Earlier this week, Begovic conceded that he could be sold in the summer because Butland had not moved to the Britannia to sit on the bench.
Stoke boss Tony Pulis believes he has secured one of the bargains of the season in Butland but the baseball-cap loving tactician could yet loan the youngster out for the entire 2013-14 season, unless the club receive a monster off for Begovic.
“If it comes to next season and we’ve still got three goalkeepers and feel Jack isn’t ready, he’ll be loaned out again,” Pulis is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
“There was no thought in my mind of bringing Butland in just in case Asmir went. We felt it was a fantastic opportunity.
“The price was unbelievable.”
Southampton, Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal were all linked with moves for Butland before the Team GB custodian joined Stoke.
