The best side in the NRL gets better as first-choice players return to the line-up.
Just when fans and opponents think it could not get any harder to beat the South Sydney Rabbtiohs, they call in the reinforcements.
Ahead of the Rabbtiohs annual pilgrimage to Perth to spread the word of rugby league, red and green side see the return of George Burgess (disciplinary), pushing Tom Burgess out of the 17.
George Burgess, younger brother of teammate Sam, has been a revelation coming off the bench for South Sydney and has helped transform the side into a legitimate title contender.
In other news, Andrew Everingham takes Justin Hunt’s spot on the wing, while Origin star Chris McQueen returns in the back row after being rested on the weekend.
Greg Inglis, John Sutton, Adam Reynolds and Issac Luke have on fire in recent weeks and they should continue their high level of play this weekend.
For the Warriors, Russell Packer (ankle) returns from injury but must pass a fitness test, as will Manu Vatuvei (shin).
Ngani Laumape has been added to the squad as cover for Vatuvei, while Suaia Matagi and Charlie Gubb provide cover for Packer.
Since their thrashing at the hands of Penrith in round 10, the Warriors have gone on a five-game winning streak as they continue amaze given their terrible form at the start of the season had them mentioned in the same sentence as the wooden spoon.
In that streak they have captured wins over Brisbane (twice), Newcastle, Manly and competition heavyweights the Sydney Roosters.
