Anyone lucky enough to have Six Nations tickets for this weekend’s action is in for a treat.
Three exciting fixtures are scheduled, with Italy vs Ireland and Wales vs England on Saturday, before Scotland travel to France on Sunday.
Italy vs Ireland
Italy vs Ireland is by far the easiest to predict. An emphatic away victory is surely on the cards, especially as the recent introduction of a bonus point reward for scoring tries will make Ireland go hard early.
We reckon Ireland will get across the whitewash more than four times and be dominant enough to beat a betting handicap of 23 points.
Wales vs England
Saturday night’s entertainment is much tougher to call. If England play like they did last weekend then they will get rolled over in Cardiff.
However, Eddie Jones will have got his troops working hard to address their shortcomings and a narrow win over Wales to keep English hopes of a Grand Slam is our expectation, with the hosts earning a losing bonus point.
France vs Scotland
Scotland caused a shock by beating Ireland last weekend. They will again be underdogs in Paris on Sunday, but they are more than used to that.
This Scotland side have no fear. The bookies don’t fancy their chances of beating the French, but we do!
