Lewis Hamilton has claimed pole position ahead of the highly anticipated Singapore Grand Prix this afternoon and will be looking to hammer home that advantage to continue clawing back the 22 point advantage held by teammate and rival Nico Rosberg in the race for the drivers’ championship at the end of the season.
The only night race of the calendar is always an exciting affair and, with Rosberg having qualified just behind Hamilton on the front row of the grid, the two look to go head-to-head in Asia as a season that has sent them on a collision course continues to excite.
The Red Bulls of Daniel Ricciardo and Sebastian Vettel are just behind on the grid, but all eyes will be on the Mercedes of Hamilton and Rosberg as they head around the relatively slow and windy Singapore track.
The race will be live on Sky Sports with coverage starting at 1:30pm. If you don’t have a Sky subscription why not grab yourself a NOW TV Sky Sports Day Pass – Pay As You Go access to all 6 Sky Sports channels for the first time ever!
