There are four San Francisco 49ers listed as questionable to play Sunday against Indianapolis, the biggest question mark being tight end Vernon Davis.
Davis missed the entire week of practice with a hamstring injury he tweaked at Seattle. This was not unexpected; Davis tweeted this week that he would rest but be able to play.
Coach Jim Harbaugh said Friday that Davis is a game-time decision.
The other San Francisco players listed as questionable are defensive lineman Ray McDonald (two sprained ankles), safety Eric Reid (concussion) and running back LaMichael James (knee). McDonald and Reid are expected to start Sunday.
Meanwhile, tackle Anthony Davis was fined $7,875 for unnecessary roughness against Seattle.
Injuries continue to pile up for the Colts with starting safety LaRon Landry to miss Sunday’s game with an ankle complaint.
Landry, who leads the league with 26 tackles, injured his ankle in last weekend’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
Joe Lefeged or Sergio Brown will likely start in his place.
The Colts could also be without starting linebacker Pat Angerer. He’s doubtful with a knee injury, which has kept him out of practice all week. Angerer missed the season opener against Oakland on Sept. 8 with a concussion.
Defensive lineman Cory Redding (back), safety Antoine Bethea (toe) and center Samson Satele (elbow) are all questionable.
The Colts have already lost running back Vick Ballard (knee), tight end Dwayne Allen (hip) and guard Donald Thomas (quad) to season-ending injuries.
