Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has surprisingly tipped summer signing Cesc Fabregas as a possible club captain of the future, according to the Daily Express.

The Spanish midfielder, who was captain of Arsenal during his time at the Emirates Stadium, has made a great start to life at Stamford Bridge, and his manager has been impressed by his leadership qualities.
“When I am the manager at Chelsea the armband will go to another arm that has been in this club for many many years.
“But one thing is [the leader’s] brain needs to be connected with the manager, and his brain is connected to mine during matches.”
