The United star turns 40-years-old and is still playing at the top.
Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has reached an impressive landmark as the midfielder turns 40-years-old and is still playing for the Premier League champions.
Giggs has now been in the first team for 23 years and is the most highly decorated footballer ever to play in England.
The Welshman’s trophy haul includes an impressive 13 league titles, four FA Cups and two Champions League triumphs, among other great moments.
Now a player coach Giggs is still impressing on the pitch despite being a veteran of the game, as shown by the dominant passing display against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night.
Off the pitch the midfield ace may have a questionable reputation, but on it there are few more highly regarded and players and managers didn’t waste any time paying tribute to the Red Devils star.
Happy 40th Ryan Giggs. It’s just a number. A number which is way too high to still be playing top level football. A true phenomenon.

Giggs is also held in the highest regard by some true legends of the game, which obviously includes manager of 22 years Sir Alex Ferguson, but also France and Real Madrid ace Zinedine Zidane.
