Russell Brand confirms UK tour plans

Russell Brand has revealed that he is planning a tour of the UK and Ireland.

The comedian and TV presenter announced the bombshell using his Twitter account @rustyrockets.

After discussing his live plans for America - including last week's gig in Las Vegas - Brand promised his fans back home that he would not neglect them for much longer.

"People of Britain and Ireland, I assure you I am coming soon to wreak havoc on our islands. I miss home."

Russell Brand tour dates are expected to be confirmed shortly.
