Trengove trade: Demons midfielder’s move to Richmond called off after persistent injury
Richmond have shored up its list for the 2015 season with the announcement of six re-signings.
The Tigers have been quiet throughout the AFL trade period, with their bid for Melbourne midfielder Jack Trengove scuttled after the former Demons captain failed a medical.
New deals have been handed to defenders Jake Batchelor and Matt Dea, utilities Ricky Petterd and Matt McDonough and key position player Todd Elton.
Batchelor has committed to a two-year deal, while the other four players have signed one-year extensions.
In addition to the re-signings, former Port Adelaide midfielder Matt Thomas will be back in 2015 as a rookie-listed player.
