Mauro Icardi glad that he snubbed the Blues and Liverpool.
Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi has insisted that he has no regrets over turning down the overtures of Liverpool and Chelsea this summer, report the Express, with the 21 year-old Argentina forward having started the season in sparkling form for Inter Milan despite the struggles of Walter Mazzarri’s side.
Icardi was linked with a £28 million move to either Stamford Bridge or Anfield this summer after firmly establishing himself as one of Serie A’s finest young talents during his time at the San Siro, but decided to extend his stay at Inter Milan, and has now spoken about the possibility of penning an even longer deal with the former European champions:
“On the renewal I don’t know anything yet. But I chose Inter, and I want to stay here. I want to stay because here we have a desire to build something.”
