Troubled Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon came pretty close to being on the Philadelphia Eagles…
The Philadelphia Eagles were not able to see quarterback Nick Foles repeat his 2013 success in the 2014 season as his numbers severely regressed.

He later injured his clavicle, which kept him out for the remainder of the season and forced the Eagles to turn to Mark Sanchez. The Eagles ended up missing the playoffs despite having a 10-6 record.
However, things could be a lot worse for the Eagles as they reportedly turned down an offer from the Cleveland Browns that would have given them wide receiver Josh Gordon in exchange for Foles.
Gordon has just been suspended for an entire season for failing another drug test, and Foles still has many years ahead of him with an opportunity to win back the starting job and regain his 2013 form.
