Boss hopeful of bringing defender to Loftus Road.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp is chasing the first major signing for his club, Anthony Reveillere, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Following his sides dramatic win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Redknapp is looking to start a major overhaul of players.
Anthony Reveillere, 33, has gained a reputable status having won nearly twenty caps for France. His spell at Lyon has been remarkably successful with six league medals under his belt. The Frenchman is now entering the last six months of his contract, which ensures that the possibility of Redknapp’s eye for a bargain deal looks set to continue.
The transfer will see Jose Bosingwa shipped off, following his refusal to be a substitute in a recent game against Newcastle United. The Portuguese has become a much maligned figure, with both his manager and teammates questioning his commitment to the QPR cause.
Redknapp is also looking to move on a number of other highly paid players, include forward Djibril Cisse.
