Florentino Perez admits that final decision on Karim Benzema rests with Italian.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez says the future of Arsenal target Karim Benzema depends on head-coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Benzema, 25, has not scored for Real since August and has been criticised for his lack of effort by Ancelotti.
Arsenal have reportedly been offered the striker in a cut-price deal, while Perez has openly admitted Los Blancos are interested in signing AS Monaco forward Radamel Falcao next summer, increasing uncertainty over Benzema’s future.
But Perez says he has faith in all Real’s current squad and the decision on whether to keep Benzema rests with Ancelotti.
“I have faith in all the players in our squad,” Perez said.
“Karim is a great player and we get offers for him all the time, every summer.
“All I can say is that the coach is the one who has the authority to do what he believes is right.”
