After months of speculation the forward has committed his future to the Reds.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has now fully completed a u-turn since the Uruguayan stated the 26-year-old wanted to leave Anfield and Arsenal and Real Madrid took up interest.
After a summer of speculation the South American has now pledged the forward’s future to the Reds and insists their will be no departure from Anfield in this transfer window.
“I closed this subject a while ago. I have already taken the decision to stay at Liverpool,” Suarez was quoted in the Daily Mail.
This will come as good news for fans on Merseyside as the club have made some important new signings recently, as well as having started the new campaign in great style.
Brendan Rodgers’ team are now the only side in the Premier League with a 100% record after victories over Stoke City, Aston Villa and rivals Manchester United.
Daniel Sturridge has become the first attacker since Robbie Fowler to score in all three of the club’s opening league matches and the Englishman is showing that Liverpool can cope just fine without Suarez.
However, with 23 goals in the English top tier last season the Uruguay international will certainly be a welcome addition, once the forward has served the remaining three games of a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
Rodgers has been busy in the transfer market as the window draws ever closer to being shut, with eight new players being bought in including Mamadou Sakho from Paris Saint-Germain for around £18m and Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Mignolet for £9m.
