Spaniard beats Tomas Berdych for the 14th time in a row to get into decider.
Rafael Nadal turned in another dominating performance against Tomas Berdych, beating the Czech 7-5, 7-6 (7/4) for a place in the final of the Cincinnati Masters.
The win was Nadal’s 14th in a row over Berdych.
The Spaniard is one win away from a second straight Masters 1000 hardcourt title, after his triumph in Montreal last week. It would be his ninth title this season.
Nadal will play for the trophy against American John Isner, who survived a match point to defeat Argentine Juan Martin del Potro 6-7 (5/7), 7-6 (11/9), 6-3.
