The former Spurs boss has targeted the beanpole striker as the perfect man to help his Loftus Road side escape relegation.
Redknapp has previously bought Crouch on four separate occasions.
The pair first linked up when Redknapp was in charge of South coast club Portsmouth in 2002. They were reunited once more when Crouch was brought in at Southampton in 2004 before rejoining Pompey for £9 million in 2008.
Their most recent collaboration was at London club Tottenham were the pair enjoyed a fourth place finish and a Champions League run that took them to a quarter-finals match-up against Real Madrid.
While it would be a surprise if either party were to reach those heights again with QPR, Redknapp believes Crouch’s goals can fire the London club out of the relegation zone and into safety.
Crouch is thought to be keen to hook up with his former mentor as he looks to break back into the England international setup.
