Midfielder to make Loftus Road switch.
Tottenham’s Jake Livermore will join QPR on loan for the remainder of the season, fanatix has learnt.
The young midfielder will link up with Hoops boss Harry Redknapp who handed him his debut at White Hart Lane at the beginning of last season.
Livermore, 23, made his England debut in November against Italy but has played just 11 minutes of Premier League football since mid-October, with Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas favouring a central midfielder pairing of Moussa Dembele and Sandro.
With Scott Parker fit again after a lengthy absence with an achilles injury, the Portuguese tactician has deemed the youngster surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane, although there is no option in place for the R’s to buy the hard-working star in the summer.
The deal is likely to be announced after the clubs meet at Loftus Road on Saturday in the early kick-off.
Redknapp is looking to bring in a number of players this month, in a bid to help the struggling West Londoners beat the drop.
The 65-year-old admitted his admiration for Livermore last week, saying: “Jake’s a good player. There’s lots of time for him. He’s a possibility. He’s a player I like. If Tottenham are willing to do something he’s someone who’d interest me.”
And, despite interest from Fulham, Redknapp has now got his man.
