Like Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic came through all three of his first week matches in straight sets, but faces his first true challenge on the grass courts of SW19 in the fourth round when he plays Tommy Haas.
The 35 year-old German has enjoyed a tremendous late resurgence in the game in the last year or so, and has risen to 13 in the world rankings, having been outside the top fifty this time last year.
Impressive victories over Feliciano Lopez, Jimmy Wang and Dimitry Tursunov put him in good stead ahead of his clash with Djokovic, and his confidence will be boosted by the fact that he has beaten the Serb three of the eight times they have played.
That includes a match on the hard courts of Miami in March this year, as well as a victory at Wimbledon in the 2009 quarter finals.
On paper, Djokovic is a comfortable favourite, but Haas can put fine streaks together, especially if his one-handed backhand is on song, and the world number one will have to play his best to come through.
