The German believes Rosicky is one of the most talented midfield players in England.
Arsenal’s club record signing Mesut Ozil has rained down praise on team-mate Tomas Rosicky and says the 33-year-old is one of the best midfielders in the league.
Ozil and Rosicky have played together for six months since the German made the £42.4m transfer from Real Madrid on transfer deadline day.
“In my opinion Tomas belongs to the best midfielders in the Premier League,” the 25-year-old told the Gunners website.
“When you see how much he gives for the team and how he enjoys being on the ball it makes us happy to have a player like that in our ranks.”
The two attacking midfielders have helped the north London club to their current position at the top of the Premier League, as well as being in the last-16 of the Champions League and the FA Cup fourth round.
Rosicky has played 21 matches in all competitions so far in 2013/14 and although there were rumours stating the Czech Republic international would be leaving in the summer when the player’s contract expires, manager Arsene Wenger has refuted those claims.
“Tomas Rosicky will stay here at the end of the season,” the Frenchman told the club’s website.
“He is a marvellous player and contributes well to the team. He is certainly a typical Arsenal player.”
Rosicky arrived at the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2006 from Borussia Dortmund for a £7m fee and has since played 203 matches in all competitions.
