Collingwood have recruited midfielder Levi Greenwood from North Melbourne in exchange for pick no.25.
The Magpies received the pick as part of the deal that saw Dayne Beams move to the Brisbane Lions and have moved quickly to secure the Kangaroos star.
Greenwood’s departure from Arden St. comes after his best season at the club where he finished third in the club’s best and fairest.
The 26-year-old was out-of-contract at the end of the season and received lucrative deals from both Collingwood and the Western Bulldogs.
Kangaroos football director Geoff Walsh thanked Greenwood for his contribution to the club.
“Levi was a valued member of our side and we’re sad to see him go after seven seasons,” Walsh said.
