NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has taken a lot of heat recently for the way he has handled the scandals that have surfaced involving players such as Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson.
Fans have also been outraged at his prioritization of supposedly punishing drug offenders more severely than players involved in domestic violence, particularly when Rice was suspended for only two games.
The TMZ video of Rice punching his wife and the allegations that Goodell knew about the incident before have put him in hot water.
However, the commissioner has no plans to resign any time soon, according to a tweet from SportsCenter’s official Twitter account.
Roger Goodell, asked if he has considered resigning: “I have not. I am focused on doing my job.” #LIVEonSC
