Bosh hasn’t spoken to LeBron: Heat center hasn’t been in touch with former team-mate.
Bosh clarifies LeBron comments: Bosh insists that there are no hard feelings.
Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has conceded that he is “surprised” by Chris Bosh’s recent comments and revealed that he won’t be spending time with his former team-mates off the court.
Earlier this week, Bosh revealed that he hadn’t spoken to James since his decision to leave the Miami Heat, although he later clarified his comments by insisting that they did speak at Dwyane Wade’s wedding in August.
Nevertheless, it didn’t come across as though Bosh would be making a significant effort of finding time to talk to James, as he is now fully focused on the Heat’s future success with his current team-mates.
Meanwhile, Wade also conceded that he didn’t have fun last season despite the Heat reaching the NBA Finals for a fourth consecutive year, and he revealed the strain and lack of enjoyment he had in going through the year.
James has admitted that he is surprised by some of the comments coming out of the Heat camp, but he will not let them disrupt him too much.
“I know a lot of words have been coming out of their camp as of late and some of it is surprising,” James said Friday after Cleveland’s practice.
“We’ve got so much history together. … It doesn’t take away from what we accomplished [in Miami] and I know that.”
“I’ve talked to D. Wade. Obviously, I haven’t talked to Chris. But I haven’t seen them,” James added.
Despite the fact that the two teams are staying in hotels nearby and have had three nights off ahead of Saturday’s pre-season game, James revealed that there were no plans for them to meet up and see each other aside from when they take to the court.
It remains to be seen if there is any tension on the court, but what is certain is that both players are focused on their respective teams moving forward.
