Arsenal may or may not sign Olympique Lyonnais playmaker Yoann Gourcuff on loan this month, depending on which newspaper you open this morning.

They cite a story in French newspaper Le JDD, which claims that Lyon are open to the idea of letting the France international leave either on loan or permanently, because they are keen to cut his £85,000 wages from their bills each month.
TuttoMercato meanwhile report that there will be no deal this month, although Gourcuff will likely be available in the summer.
“He will surely stay here until June,” Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is quoted as saying.
“After that, we will discuss his value, but he has been injured so this is not the time to talk about a transfer.”
Asked if he’d been offered Gourcuff in this morning’s press conference, Wenger gave his default reply to such questions:
“I don’t want to come out on that. I won’t name names.”
Wenger did however reveal that he is chasing two players this January – and one of which is to be a defensive midfielder.
With a lack of a truly world class striker up front, it seems it is more likely that the Gunners will strengthen there instead.
