The Goodison boss was speaking ahead of his side’s game with Swansea, and moved to dismiss rumours of a possible exit, notably for midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
‘The plan is to keep all of our players. I wouldn’t be talking about anyone’s contracts if I can help it, and I won’t do it now.’
Moyes was responding to rumours that Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United target Fellaini has a £22 million release clause in his contract.
Despite releasing some worrying financial figures recently, Moyes revealed the club may look to add to their squad as they chase down a Champions League qualification spot.
‘We are trying [to bring players in]. We will look around and what we will get.’
One player who will be extending his stay at Goodison is Thomas Hitzlsperger. The player signed on a free from Hamburg in the summer and has extended his contract until the end of the season.
‘Thomas is going to stay until the end of the season. He has played a few games for us now, and he has been around the block a few times. He knows exactly what is required.’
One player leaving Goodison, albeit on loan, is young midfielder Ross Barkley. He has joined Championship side Leeds for a one month spell.
