Arteta injury to force Arsenal into the market.
Arsenal’s latest injury crisis has seen the club target a £20m move for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 24-year-old has attracted plenty of interest this season after a fine start to life at Sevilla, whom he only joined this summer in what looks like a bargain £3.5m deal.
Already valued at around £20m, Krychowiak’s fine form has clearly impressed Arsene Wenger, who looks to have made the Polish international his first choice to replace the injured Arteta.
The Spaniard sustained the knock in last night’s win over Borussia Dortmund, and is likely to be out for some time, according to the Gunners boss.
